A unique handmade streamlined Ludwig XIV CS aluminium and carbon fibre touring bike equipped with a 14-speed Rohloff speedhub by Schindelhauer for the Cabinet de Curiosités. Fine perforated soft leather saddle. Ergonomically encased with an exceptionally comfortable Rohloff frame geometry and state of the art Gates Drive Belt System (rubber chain) which ensures a riding experience that is soundless and smooth. Triple butted and hand-welded aluminium frame. Aero shaped tube with a weight of only 9.8kg. To assure optimal delay, the disk brakes manufactured in England are made of one piece. Sophisticated breaking technology produces superior agility. The drive is combined with a CNC machined ultra light-weight crank-set consisting of high-strength German aluminium. The point of intersection represents the spider, which is located between the Gates Centre Track Sprocket and the crank. Low inertias of the rotating mass provide the bike with its necessary agility. High-flange rims, made from carbon fibre, have a total height of 50mm which significantly characterise and dominant Ludwig XIV CS appearance. Ultra-light blade-spokes and the carbon fibre rims, made in Belgium. Lightweight.
