We arrived a little later than planned due to heavy traffic so Focus decided to split our factory tour over the 2 days and do the wheel-building the following morning.</p><p></p><p>After quite a few hours of travelling they gave us about 30 minutes to have a sit down and relax before we would start the first part of our tour. This was when we got our first sample of German food. We were introduced to our guide for the afternoon, an incredibly tall man called Rolf. We were hooked up into our headsets so we could hear him over the factory noises and off we went.</p><p></p><p>First we were given a short introduction about Focus Bikes and how they operate. Every single bike they sell comes through this factory and although they are welded overseas everything else is done in house from testing to assembly. On an average weekday they will produce 2,500 complete bikes ready to be shipped out to stores around the world.</p></blockquote><p></p>
